I just came across the Talking Robots podcast which includes interviews with many well known roboticists such as Rodney Brooks. Of particular interest to us is an interview with Marco Dorigo (Feb 16, 2007) where he talks about swarm robotics, swarm intelligence, and the swarmanoid project.
