Multiagent Systems

Applications are invited for the Research Associate/Research Fellow posts for a three-year research project funded by Agency for Science, Technology and research (A*STAR) of Singapore. The post holder will be part of a larger team and will be in the area of autonomic computing and distributed fault tolerance, focusing on self-management and self healing in service oriented environments.

You should have a PhD (for the research fellow position) or a Master degree (for the research associate position but desire to pursue PhD on the job) in Computer Science, engineering or a related discipline. You are expected to be a highly competent, independent researcher, and have experience of Web technologies and distributed systems. Knowledge and experience of Web/Grid service management would be desirable. The work will involve conceptual/theoretical work, and also implementation of demonstrable system.

Among qualified candidates, the priority will be given to Singaporean, citizens from Australia/ New Zealand, north Americas and European.
